i remember making scrapbooks of 'fashion design' ... cutting and copying the 1940's and 1950's black and white 'line drawings' of 'frocks' that the downtown stores were offering up. drawing just the 'outline' and embellishing them in my 'own style'. i loved finding hats and purses and jewelry accessories to cut and paste into my scrapbooks too.

growing gardens in our scrapbooks (page 66 of MaryJane's Outpost book .. brought back memories of my dear olde Aunt Betty's scrapbooks .. and how my grand-daughter Jennifer loved nature in her scrapbooks too.

i can hardly wait til Sofia and Iszabel are old enough to cut and paste .. it makes me wonder what will be their preferred 'paper ephemera' to collect!

i'll listen closely to their hearts and start collecting magazines for their scrapbooks!!

o.k... i gotta admit .. the MILK and LEMON JUICE (milk punch recipe) sure has me intrigued. i thought if you mixed milk and 'lemons' .. you got sour milk? talk to me somebody about this and convince me! it sounds DELISH .. but just really different than anything i've ever tried.

xo

I am with you Frannie - that is how we make buttermilk when you have none in the house - not sure if I would run to drink some of that - I must be wrong. You go first and let us know
