Debby, I"m impressed, your blog looks great! How do you change the template like that? And how on earth do I link other blogs to mine and thanks SO much for adding mine to yours, I'm honored!

I just love it that this blog discussion keeps going and going. It's such a fun way to connect with people. I add links to my blog using an easy, free service called blogroll.com. I think it's pretty self-expanatory, but let me know if not.

I seem to be on a small roll. What would that be? A sommersault....I suppose! I have made a few new posts, but I feel like they are quite bland compared to what I know I want my blog to be about. But..alot of it is just becoming more comfortable with being heard, and having a place to say the things that are on my mind, and talk about the things that matter to me, and share the world through my eyes. I think that is the thing that is so powerful about blogs...reading them, writing them. Some may say that it's one thing or another, but I think it's making people better listeners. What inspired me to start my own was reading others blogs, and loving their stories, photographs, different opinions....and in turn wanting to be that generous with myself.

Thanks to our wonderful Kay (The Rustic Cottage)here on this board, I too have joined the Blog wagon. While nothing great, it does keep everyone up to date on what's going on around our old farm. Please feel free to read it and if you would like to see the old cattle shed we are turning into a primitive shop back of our home, scroll down to the "Old Crow Farm" entry. http://oldcrowfarmks.blogspot.com/
I thought this might give some of you an idea what you can do with very little money to make money on your farms.
Love reading all YOUR Blogs so please keep posting them here.

Jenny -- I'm so proud of you for starting a blog! I love it! Mona's picture is the best. Missy -- I read your blog too. Your message brought tears to my eyes. My very talented daughter drew that darling Christmas apron as a Merry Christmas gift to all of you. I updated my blog this evening with Christmas thoughts and wishes.

I agree with Sherry, if all of us farmgirls had a blog, we could really get to know each other and share our adventures in a neat way! I love the pics and were all so talented! Judes, what are wristlets? They are cute! And like you, I started mine to keep me writing. Keep blogging gals, they all are great!

I have been away from here for so long that it is going to take me forever to catch up on all the posts and read all the new blogs...but I will get it done! Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to tackle 2006. I have been much busier than I expected to be for the past several weeks, so haven't been able to even log onto the connection and see what's been happening with some of my favorite people. I did manage to update my website a little, and tomorrow I plan on adding new entries to my blog. Christmas was extremely busy with all my family coming up here, and then I came down with bronchitis which has kept me under the weather for almost two weeks. I am feeling much better now, and ready to get some mail-art out, some crafts made and some baking done, too. Right now, I am in search of millet flour for some of the most wonderful "diet" bread you can imagine. Anyone with a sourch, please let me know! I have missed reading posts from all of you and am really happy to be back on here.
