Ok, I was wondering what makes you keep going back to read a blog?

I love the everyday thoughts of a farm girl and love to read about their projects..for me animals pictures are cool, too. I would like to comment on a few of yours here...Simple Katie, I love the recipes, and her creativity inspires me. Farm Aspirations is a fun blog, too, love all the chicken stories. Frannie's new blog is fun to read, her writing is so interesting, the way she describes something make you think you are right there. There are so many I love to read, really great entertainment...I can sit hear and read for hours entertaining myself!! lol
There is one I can't find anymore but she had a baby recently, on there she posted some many cool links to patterns, etc. I should have added that one to my favorites...oh, we maybe I will find again on the Blog Roll.

Hugs, Michelle

michelle .. i am sooooo happy you started that thread .. being fairly new to blogs (and even knowing WHAT they are) .. i haven't visited too many and it will be FANTASTIC to have them all listed in one spot!

i do want to learn how to do 'links' .. cuz' i have some great ones to add.

i enjoy reading 'stories' of 'real life' .. doesn't matter whether someone lives on a farm or not .. i enjoy 'city stories' and .. well .. just STORIES .. love PHOTOS .. love IDEAS and RECIPES .. and 'how-to's' .. i hope to incorporate lots of these things on my blog. i love playing fun 'games' and giving away prizes too. i've done that for years with my kentucky ramblers.

i was VERY surprized that so many of my 'ramblers' wish to stay on an 'e-mail' list to receive everything i put on my blog. some don't want to miss anything and (just like i was) .. are still a little confused about how easy it is to register and comment. i must admit .. i love getting lots of e-mails too! it must be easier to upload photos from a blog than from an e-mail .. because that has been the major reason that some of the girls prefer to bookmark my blog and read it there.

i still have my TREASURE SEEKERS list .. and these girls receive descriptions of dollies, antiques, books, and such when they come 'up for adoption'. have LOTS of friends on that list!

that is something else i will post from time to time .. treasures!

sooo .. come on girls .. list those blogs .. so i can bookmark them and peek in from time to time .. and oh please do come visit me at mine! xo, frannie

I agree with both you farmgirls!

When I think about the many different types women who blog, and how far apart we are, yet how close we can be. Wish my neighbors were as friendly as all you are. I love pictures and adventures, I am not really a "storyteller". But I sure enjoy the talents of the blogging MJ farmgirls!
I know for me some of my family is spread out, so it's fun to have them 'come' in toour lives. Sometimes travel is not possible. I am bookmarking all who share their blogs......

Farmgirl Blessings,
Theresa

theresa .. did ya' ever hear of the book: EVERYWOMAN HAS A STORY? It is wonderful .. and honestly, the best stories are told .. when written just as if you were having a conversation with a friend and relating something. (oh yesss .. you can embellish or get flowery or excited now and then to 'spice it up' .. but the basic 'events' are the 'story'. i'll have to dig out my Everywoman Has A Story (I think it was changed to "Cameo Stories" .. and post some ideas and questions some day!
