Those are awesome! You could also sand down the wood and refinish it. Whatever you do...those certainly didn't deserve the trash!

Wow! Building a hay loft sounds interesting but lots of work! Take pictures for us, okay? I would love to see it "in action" :D! I don't think I have ever seen a hay loft being built!
