I think there are several for me # no one Mjs farm, then the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, Luna you just gotta go there, We had really good binoculars so that really helped. I loved driving thru all the states, also loved Denver and Boulder, I have never lived anywhere except Ky so they are all beautiful to me

Miss Wilma, I'm adding your place to my favorite places I've been. It's so beautiful down there. Other places I love are Sweden- central and eastern area, Canada-around the Niagara area, the farmlands and woods of south eastern Ohio, the Charleston, SC area, Smokey Mtns., and of course right here in Central Kentucky.

Well, I'm going to have to say, my friend's dairy farm, Trehane, on the estate of Trevalga in Cornwall, England. It's got to be my favorite place on the planet--a place I go to, even in my mind, when I'm happy, sad, indifferent.

3614 Park Street, Grove City, Ohio rates right up there, too--that was the address of my Great Grandmother, Theodicia's house. I spent many, many happy days there with my family.

I also love Camden, Maine and Boston, Mass.

Oh, Jonni I want to go too. Camden, Maine sounds great! I want to go to New England in the fall so badly.

Miss Wilma... Mom's in a nursing home for a short rehab stay. I'm not too happy with the place but Dad says she has to build her strength back up so she can come home and have better quality of life. So whatever's the best for her has to be.

Door County Wisconsin!!

My husband & I spent our honeymoon there & we have visited there several times. Lovely little shops & resturants & B&B's. But also just a beautiful natural setting on the shores of Lake Michigan. The most beautiful sunrises you can ever hope to see.

Have to say I have been to soooo many places that I would consider my "FAV" for different reasons.......because of different types of beauty...the mountains....lush greenery.....fall foliage.....I love the SW and the New England area (I was born there!) and I see BEAUTY in NYC cause I love it there for the energy and the architecture and >>>> I love Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket cause they are like Island Paradises to me!!! So much beauty around us in the USA that it is really hard for me to pick a fav!!! Guess I have lots of FAVS!!!

Until Later,
Audrey

Every time I travel I come home with that being my most favorite, but I think it really is Estes Park CO and Rocky Mountain National Park. My sister and I did a week there last year and didn't want to leave - really disappointed we couldn't get back this year!
Before that it was WA state and San Juan Islands, New Orleans, Outer Banks NC, Victoria BC, I think I just like to travel...

I love the Bahamas but still have really fond memories of my honeymoon when we went to Graceland! That was an experience I will never forget as we pulled up in front of the house!

1. My grandpa's farm in Iowa, that now exists in my memories
2. Nantahala Lodge, NC
3. Grand Canyon
4. St. George Island, FL
5. Minocqua, WI
6. Big Sur, CA

I dream of going to Alaska and the woods of Canada. And honestly, I do not have a big hankering to go outside of the good old USA (except for Canada). I have many well-traveled friends who smile at me for that. I have been to the Rockies and Colorado and loved it. Wow. But there are so many absolutely wonderful places in the country that I would return to first. And I have to say, as a Floridian, that not one of my DREAM destinations include Disney!!!!!

I have to say my favorite spot was sitting on my floor with my dear Great Dane Emily's head in my lap, petting her & kissing her extra soft fur behind her ears. Just a memory though.. I lost her 1 1/2 yrs ago..My best friend she was.
Here is a pic of her in our field(don't have one of her in my lap)

So far, out of all of the places I have been, my favorite is the very secluded beach under the Pictured Rocks on Lake Superior. My husband and I went there with the kids a couple of years ago, and we were among maybe a dozen (and seven of the dozen were us!) as far as we could see for miles up the beach in either direction. It was also the only beach on Lake Superior that had water warm enough to swim in. So swim we did... In our clothes because we had been to enough beaches along the lake to know that the water was FREEZING! Even in late July. I will go back there many times if God is willing...

Ocho Rios, Jamaica...Gilmer, Texas...Santa Fe, New Mexico...and Southern Illinois. These are all places that I have been that I consider "Home"...places that I was raised in. I have been lucky to have family near and far, so it's been great!

One of my favorite places is at the Cabin. Life is a lot slower pace there, and there is no worries other than running out of firewood or margaritas.
