2009 Farm Fair...July 4th-5th 2009
An Event for the whole family. Come take a mini~trip around the rolling hills of the Palouse. Drive down country roads, witness harvest underway and grab a class of Ice Cold Lemonade. Stop your buggies long enough for a barter or two (or three),then we will all meet up at the Ole Mill for a little "boogie"....Mark your calendars, and save your egg money..Farm Fair 2009 is a coming!

oh rene .. i've put it on my calendar! honey hunk can go white water rafting with his moscow rugby buddies .. and i'll grab some gurlfrenz from colorado that moved to moscow many moons ago and we can all hit FARM FAIR 2009!
gosh! i haven't seen them in so long! the whole time will be fabulous!!!
it's been on our hearts and mind to come visit ever since maryjane and family came to visit here!

Looks like "fun is in the making", I cannnot wait to get everyone rounded up and meet you all in person...There are so many great things a comin' this year...so grab as many of your favorite gals and get them signed in and into the sisterhood....we plan on having more fun than anyone one person otta have!

Miss Wilma - will talk to my hubby about this, if I go I sure want to meet up with you for the flight out. Most flights here go through Atlanta or Memphis, I think.....have not flown in so long, I have to check flights. Also, have to see if the $$$ work out! This may have to be my birthday gift for next year!

No I really cant, as you know I grew up in a pentacostal church and that was a no no, never did make sense to me and since I married so young I never had any one to teach me, His family believed just like mine but I love dancing, now I dont like the vulgar stuff a lot of them do but like line dancing and the old time folk dancing . ballet is a favorite to. Well I just guess we will have a party with all of you trying to teach me to dance. This wont be videoed will it

OH yes, it will be put on you-tube and broadcast for all the world......no, just kidding! I hope folks on this board know that I kid a lot. You know the saying, though.....dance like no one is watching.
Miss Wilma - I understand why you have not danced often. It brought to mind, I don't know why, a program on PBS the other night about the Appalachian mountain people. It was MC'd by Billy Ray Cyrus, and he actually did a good job. Part of the program spoke of the pentecostal churches of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky. They had 1950 era film footage of snake handling and worship services in the small churches all through there. And the footage showed many of them dancing and moving with the spirit. It was really interesting. I know I am off on a new subject here, but I wondered then if some pentecostal churches allowed dancing and others did not.
I was glued to the program, because it talked all about how our country has been so influenced and strengthened by mountain and farm people of the south, especially those of what is called the Appalachian area. The program covered religion, NASCAR, country music and the damming of the rivers and how that helped win WWII. It was a good show.

However the 2009 FarmFair will be held..........................Ok well just put on your calender that you're headed to "The Palouse" (which is the area around Moscow ID and Oaksdale WA) and we will send the details out soon! - If your flying in. you'll fly to Spokane,WA and from there.............We will surprise you as some great announcements will be coming soon! Jeannie I have never been to the snake handling churches but they still are doing it . a lady that lived close to my mom and dad was bit last summer and died reacon the poor old thing didnt realise rattlers will biteThere was things I still believe in, like the ten commandments strongly,, but dancing , going to movies anything pertaining to sin was forbidden. shucks my dad made me rub the lipstick off my mouth plenty times. I finally got old enough to make up my own mind about what I thought was wrong or right, so I still want to learn to dance. Nobody around here dancesso you all sure have got a job to do

Start looking for a good pair of dancing shoes! i was a late bloomer to dancing too. Now i love it! i cannot follow anyone ... I just enjoy the music and do my own thing...I would also love to learn line dancing and the texas two step. I've watched people here at the town fairs and it just looks so neat. Rene, can we get lessons at Farm Fair????
