They look so nice after I weed them. And I like my new camera. So I'm taking pics up close this time: This one is called Firestorm(Wilma, I think you may need this one)
Here's Peacock Maiden
I like Hunter's Torch because sometimes it comes out as a double and sometimes as a single, but either way, it's a big and beautiful bloom.
Jersey Spider is another big, bright bloom that catches you eye from a distance:
Royal Saracen
Illini Jackpot is a tall, strong grower
Lavendar Light is so pretty and pastel
Yes, I guess they're worth fighting the weeds over. ;)

Absolutely gorgeous! The Chicago Botanical Garden just had a daylily show over the weekend. I think yours definitely would have been top prize winners! Keep those pictures coming!

You may be right, Jonni. I never thought of it before. I have an enormous purple one named 'Bela Lugosi'! Love that name! :D

Here's Bela:
He's a pretty expensive guy. I've only got one double fan of him, and I check on him a lot.

They all pretty much sound like something I've bet on at some time or other in my life. I remember being at Miles Park when a horse named Lucky Lena(that's a nice flower name) set a record. I always liked that name. Maybe I'll hybridize one myself and name it after her. What next???? Summer Tan????? LOL
