Amy, I LOVE your quilt!! Those colors are so great - they remind me of the colors that were popular when I was a kid - in the late 50s. Beautiful job!!

You did a great job on the quilt. It is a real talent to choose fabrics and how to put them together. It was fun to read about your trip, too! Did you stop and see Kathie? She lives near there.

Janis...sorry this photo is so blurry, but the sun is not shining very well here today :) But, you can at least get an idea of the pattern and my blog has the better images of the fabric and stitching.

Amy, it's gorgeous!! Looks "old"~you know what I mean, it looks like a quilt that you'd pull out of your greatgranny's trunk. Hopefully, some day maybe yours will get pulled out by a greatgranddaughter. ;)

Amy:
My goodness!!!!!!!!!!!! That is such a beautiful quilt. I have a thing for collecting quilts. My goodness. I went to your site, and there was a place that said when a quilt. I couldn't find where to sign up, or is that over? Gee- one of my goals in life before I kick the bucket is to make a quilt. If I'd get off my b--- maybe I could begin. However, I have ten thumbs, sewing does not come easy. A sewing machine and I can do more damage than a drill and I. Oh, well... that was such a gorgeous quilt.
