Since March, we have not gone more than two days without rain. It rained the day before and yesterday and everyone is on edge. The folks across the street from me lost a wonderful huge oak tree last night. The ground is so wet, the roots just came out and it fell over. They have a wood stove so it will be put to good use but they hated that it is lost.
It is so depressing. Folks who were hit by the floods can't get their houses back in use because of all the rain. Most corn crops were lost and beans aren't looking too good. Many farmers never even got in the fields because of all the rain.
Is it ever going to stop? Sorry for ranting so much but it sure makes one wonder what is going on.
we've had quite a bit of rain too (global warming?????) or jus' mother nature doing her sometimes unpredictable thang? everything is soooooooooo GREEN ... no flooding .. not crop failures that i've heard of. sorry MN isn't delivering more sunshine to you. xo
