after last night's festivities .. i got up early to try to get a start on unpacking .. we got the porch all ready for lucas' camp-out tomorrow night .. he is so excited to be having 'the boys' come spend some time with him on his trip here to Kentucky! we weeded the gardens a little (well "I" weeded them .. lucas watered them!)

this evening, we went to the PONDEROSA for dinner (lucas ordered STEAK!! .. i ended up eating most of it (on top of my 'shrimp dinner'!) .. wowzer .. it sure was good for that type of restaurant.

then we went to see Wall-E. cute .. but a tad toooo long and a little repetitious for me. i heard it got FIVE STARS .. i would only have given it 2 or 3. but lucas giggled all through it .. so that made it all worth it! some good 'messages' .. but i'm not sure the younger kids would 'get them'.

afterwards, we stopped for some FIREWORKS .. (we'll light those tomorrow night when the guys come for the campout!) .. then hank took lucas on the 'roller coaster' road and the 'sleepy hollow' road. both 'back-woods' roads that were fun for a little city boy!

had to laugh when lucas looked out into a field and said: "i like farms .. cuz' you can pee anywhere!"

well, i have to go wash the 'watermellon juice' from my arms .. we had watermellon in the dark on the back porch just now .. and SHOWERS are in order for all! then, lucas and i will play some of the games he brought while honey-hunk reads. we are loving having 'little ones' around us full time again!

have a terrific tuesday gurlfrenz! xo

Sounds like a wonderful day!

I remember getting a quick bath(s) in an old wash tub after watermelon during the summer. Enjoy the boys sleepover!

OH gurlz .. one of the best things we did when moving here was to have built a wonderfully huge 'shower deck' with hot and cold running water!

Frannie,
Must feel really good to be home again. Now do you feel like changing everything around? I do that sometimes when I have been away.
