Miss Wilma, I was just looking at all your perty pics and my golly, your house looks almost exactly like my Nanna's and Papa's-such good memories of my favorite place to be. Now I can go "visit". Thanks for sharing.

My Papa built their house back in the 1940's, so it is probably very similiar. I always wished I could win the lottery, buy that house and move it to a new piece of land here in Texas. It would be worth every penny!!!

Oh Miss Wilma, I'm sorry...but he's in a much better place, isn't he? I'm sad for Gabby and his friends he leaves behind, but not for his broken body. He is new again.

Miss Wilma, Jonni, Janice, and all... I'm sooo bummed. We were going to be in KY as of this past Monday. I had everything ready, 7 whole weeks of nothing planned but being in Kentucky and the sale at Miss Wilmas. We are on "hold mode" until further notice - hopefully by Friday we will have a firm date. On the flip side, I had 2 wedding pop up for flowers and my in-laws are coming from PA for a visit.
I would have loved to have met you all on the 5th, but look forward to doing so sometime in the future. Miss Wilma - your flowers look lovely! So sorry for your loss too!
Have a wonderful time when the farm girls come to visit - I'm sure that they will cheer you up in no time!

NOOOOO!!!! Ann! I was surely hoping to meet you face to face and give you a big ole' Kentucky girl hug. I'm glad that you've got weddings to keep you busy (and give you $$$) and the you'll have company to give you a "change of scenery". Bummer, though, I wanted to see you for certain.
Soon, soon. Then, you, Janice, Miss Wilma and whoever else can meet up in Louisville and we'll go to TOWN.

Don't you worry, Jessica--we won't have enough fun if you're not there. I'm crossing fingers that you can come and I'm hoping and hoping. Miss Wilma and I won't make you do anything, you can sit and eat pie all day, and ring folks out with all their mass purchases :)

Jonni...you might have to print out a photo of us so we will be there. I get my stitches out Thursday. Hubby works Saturday too. This may be the first of our monthly KY Farmgirl Gatherings I've missed. Perhaps we can have an over the phone mtg. :)

Conference call!!! I'll print out the pretty picture of you and your man, and we'll hold it up like we did the sign for Carol Sue :) I'm bummed that you might not be able to attend...health problems and jobs sure do get in the way of fun, don't they?

While I'm at it here, this am...We might as well start the countdown, seein' it's less than a week from now, and all!
COME ONE COME ALL TO THE ORCHARD SALE....July 4th and 5th, Sterling Gilbert Road, Knob Lick, Kentucky...
Live close to Nashville?? Come on up--Knob Lick is only about 40 minutes from Bowling Green, Kentucky (about an hour's drive from Nashville), an hour and a 1/2 from Louisville/Indiana area, and 3 hours from the Cincinnati/Indiana/N. Kentucky area--course, there are other areas in this fine Country, but that's the limit to my mapping knowledge when it comes to the charming, Knob Lick, Kentucky :)
Bring your loot to sell, bring yourself, but whatever you do, make sure to bring your friends, some "cash" and your appetite!!!
Kentucky girls sure do know how to throw a soiree--the comfortable, down-home kind. Wish we could see every farmgirl there!!!

Miss Wilma....I love yur home and gardens...so peaceful and those lillies, I bet they smell wonderful. I had a few come up this year. I've only been here 3 years so this year some of my past plantings are starting to look pretty nice and I am enjoying them. You girls have a great time and I wish I could join you. It sounds like y'all have a great time together!

Miss Wilma, your gardens are so lovely. Your store looks delightful, I've been admiring all your pillows ever since I found this site. I wish i could come to /Kentucky, sounds like the place to be this coming weekend. I'm sure you and all the farmgirls in your neck of the woods will have a lovely time. Pie too, it is just sounding irresistable....Karin

Girls sometimes ther e is so much to do I think about calling a bulldozer, But I do love my plants and just keep buying more, We got back from the funeral and I had a peach tree waiting for me so I only picked a half bushel, they are tight seed but make such good preserves, have apples to do this week to. I was hoping they would hold until the week end so we could really have a good time. I have two good dealors coming from SC So I have got a BUSY week

Saving my pennies, Miss Wilma! Had to stop Justin from going hog wild in Target today--he wanted to buy a tv series on dvd!!!
Mom can't wait--she's surely looking forward to some time away. Work has been difficult this week.
