Hello Everyone,

I'm Christine (cheekyredhead). Currently I live in a small suburban town about an hour north and west of Philadelphia. I was born and raised in New York City. I freely admit to having a black thumb and I don't think my borough will allow me to have any live stock in the back yard but I'm not going to let that stop me from developing my farmgirl lifestyle. I spin my own yarn, weave, knit and love to sew.
TTFN,
Cheeky

Howdy from Texas Christine (or do you want to be called Cheeky?). Black thumb or not, I think you'll fit right in. We're so glad you found us. We can't wait to get to know you better and see pics of some of the great stuff you do.

If you want to see picture of what I do the please look at my blog:

www.getaclew.blogspot.com

FYI according to the OED a clew (note the spelling) is a ball of yarn or string.

Christine or Cheeky is fine, which ever you prefer.

Oh Christine-those yarns are just beautiful! I have always wanted to learn to spin. I love your play on words with 'clew'. Too darn cute. (and I love those socks!)

Christine, your yarns are beautiful. We can't all raise gardens and chickens and sew or make yarn. Do what you do best and leave the rest to the others!!!
I love the socks. I bet they are so warm.

Welcome Christine! Your sisterhood badge is lovely, good job. I'm going to investigate your blog a bit more, I'm very impressed with the fact you can spin, that is such magic! Tried it once, my hands just wouldn't cooperate...
