I just got a new bottle calf and he is doing good.But I was wanting some good tips. I have never done this cow thing:) Just about every thing else.But I know you gals have, and I need all the help I can get!!Like getting off the bottle and when to put him in with the other animals ect?!

What type of cow and how old is he?? I just love calves!! We won't have one here this year until Halloween....Mona held off on getting bred. The last two years we have had a spring calf. I have helped raise drop calves in the past too. Are you using milk replacer or getting milk for him?

Next thing would be to teach him to drink out of a bucket. We usually fed ours for a couple of months then they got weaned. good luck
