yesterday was a nice day (did get HOT at one point .. then a sweet quick rainshower to cool off) ... took lucas and sofia to the zoo (sofia's FIRST zoo trip) .. at almost two years old, she was mesmorized with the animals. it was wonderful seeing the 'glee' on her face at being so close to the animals. took lots of pictures but don't know how to 'download' them here on my laptop .. will post them to the 'true friends' list when i get back home!
do you remember taking your children to the zoo for the first time?
Frannie, sounds like you had a great time! My daughter is 28 so I remember it somewhat. She loved the animals. My grandson (turns 2 in Aug), I know will love it. We will probably take him soon and I can't wait. He loves animals! Theres nothing like seeing their little expressions, great isn't it?
susie .. i wish we could capture every memory of our children and grandchildren's childhood. sometimes i'll remember a 'phrase' .. but won't remember WHO said it. that's what journaling is sure good for.
