We have been a chapter for over two years, but now we have five members and everyone is able to get together and have fun! And we did have fun eating brownies, making rag rugs, and laughing.
Next month it will be apron making or baby blankets and we hope to have two more join us from a nearby small town.
Yippee! From left to right is me, my daughter Julia, her friend Brittney, Donna, and Donna's daughter Jennifer. The three young moms all go to church together, and Wednesday evenings are their girls night, so once a month we will spend that night as a chapter, I hope.
The apron Julia is wearing was my mom's, she gave the aprons as birthday presents to her friends, and mine as a Mother's day gift. Donna made her red hot pepper one. Love them all!

Jeannie, In the Picture Julia & jennifer appear to look so much alike, I thought you were going to say she was another Daughter of yours!!!!

hi gals.it is always so nice to put a face with the names! looks like a fun evening.
I actually have been thinking that when I get settled in Ocala..sometimes next year..that we need to have a Florida farm girls gathering.
Once I get to Ocala I'll start planning it out.
I'm hoping that I'll be living in Ocala by spring time next year.
(crossing my fingers for it)

Great picture Jeannie!! I can't get over how much you look like my best friend in CAlif! I have always thought that of every picture of you I have seen. Fun to see your chapter...how fun to have the young moms too!

Kathie - Jennifer is an only child like my daughter, and she and her mom (who is a sweetie) are close, so the 2 girls have a lot in common. They do look alike, you are right! Jennifer has three boys, and Julia two girls....and a baby on the way!!!
Tina - it would be so wonderful if you came to our farmgirl get togethers!!! I would absolutely love to meet you. I hope your move to Ocala works out smoothly. If you are ever in Tally.....no matter where you live, come and see me.
Jenny - well you have a friend in CA and a friend in FL! It would be neat to see a photo of her! The young moms are so much fun, I was laughing all evening.
