I am interviewing for a job I really would like tomorrow so just keep your fingers crossed. When the lady called, she did a quick interview and then said "Well, I think I am just going to have you talk to the manager." Which I think is a good thing to hear!!! So, just cross your fingers. Thanks!!!

I am STILL happy dancing and I have all my farmgal's to thank!!! It is mostly data entry but they have FULL benefits including 401k and stock options and the pay ain't bad either. They also like PERKY people- they have theme days (ahem...I am thinking I could slip in farmgirl ideas) and the have spirit days and whomever has the most spirit wins something. This SO fits my personality!! They hiring lady didn't even "interview" me, she hit the basics and then we chatted for about 30 minutes, cracking up and laughing. She told me the owners are real "spirited" people and like high energy---YEAH!! SO ME!!! And everyone was dressed from flip flops and jeans on up to suits. I will probably fall somewhere in between.

Has anyone heard of the Scooter store? Well, they started here in New Braunfels and this is the mothership of all their stores. I am going to work in billing but my opportunity for growth is as far as I want to take it. They pay is great too!! And full benefits. They are starting me off in data entry but she likes my managerial background and I told her I want to take my Health Information Management education as far as I can. This is a very family orientated company and they like happy, laughing, silly people. I got hired and there were 2 people waiting on interviews for the same job behind me. I was told that the manager LOVED me and she didn't even finish asking me all the questions because she said she didn't need too.
YEAH!! I am so excited. I do orientation Monday and then start work on Tuesday. YEAH!!!

That is awesome Heather!! We went to San Antonio this past weekend to take the kiddos to Sea World and I saw the exit to New Braunfels and thought "OH, my fellow farmgirl lives there!!" On the drive home we went through Fredricksburg and I daydreamed as I passed by all the beautiful Hill Country farms!! AHHH what I'd give to get me a little Hill Country land!!
