My friend has just acquired about 200 cloth napkins. The are burgundy and about 18x18 inches. They are really nice quality but she has no idea what to do with them. Of course I thought of a quilt but what kind and how to liven it up. But that seems boring. Any ideas good, bad or silly would be appreciated. Thanks guys, Janis

She could embroider them...that's probably what I would do, and then cut the others and intersperse with varying fabrics that go together.

She could use them to wrap gifts and tie with varying raffias, or jute string and tie with natural elements, depending on the season.

She could decorate them and then cover inexpensive hardcover journals with them and give as personal gifts.

That's about all I've got right now.

Embroidery, applique on them and turn into a quilt! Make doll blankets. Do a quilted purse, cell phone carier, tote bags, ditty bags, spa bags. Is a few ideas. Have fun!
