Did a lot of cleaning early this morning. Washed all my ceiling fans. Its hot here now, AT LAST!!! Then went for a big grocery order. came home put it away. Then had a PEPSI got crazy and went to the thrift store. I never show the clothes, but I did get a real cute flowey skirt and a cute sleeveless jumper. They are in the wash now. Next I will go out and water my plants and then maybe sit down and have a look at those new books I got.

Nancy jo, you did wonderfully well again! I love the little stool, and the books look great, and the jewelry, etc. is fabulous. Just the think to amaze granddaughters with. I too went to the thrift shop today after qa grueling morning at the quilt meeting. i was supposed to be teachinjg crazy quilt stitching but I was kind of wonky from pain medicine so I hope it was okay. Of course I had to haul all sorts of stuff in with me, but fortunately a friend transported me to and from. One old lady had a quilt she just atarted working on made mostly of ties, but it had some incredible lace and tatted thingies onit, but Oh, you will love the embroidery in the middle. It's a piece of embroidery that another woman in our group gave her, she'd received it as a gift from a high school boy friend forty years ago. And i am going to post a picture of it later. I just have to creep upsstairs for a therapeutic rest with a couple of kitties and my whodunit.....Karin Oh and Nancy jo do you remember tucking in a tiny teapot shaped thingy with a rose in it for me when I got one of your sale drawers, I just love it, and when I get my kitchen extravaganza wall done, that will be there. It is so sweet.

NancyJo,
Just catching up on your blog. Have you ever read Mrs Miniver? There is a movie with Greer Garson in it and it is very good. Have you seen it?

Oh Nancy you will enjoy those books! I have been collecting that series one at a time as I come across them. I think there are 20 in all. You should keep an eye out for the needlework, and also the Christmas books! Both are wonderful!
