Here's a good idea for controlling mosquitoes in bird baths and water features that you may have in your yard. Gotta keep that west nile virus at bay! http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/nwgardens/184843_gardenshed05.html

We have mosquito larvea squiggling around in our birdbaths all the time. Mosquitoes love Florida big time. Every week or so, my husband empties the baths, sprays them down with diluted clorox water, and lets them dry out for a day tilted on their sides. This kills the larvea and costs very little, and does not harm the birds at all when we put them back up and refill them. Seems to work pretty good.

Love those big blue skies and wide open spaces.
