gal pals.......
i have lots to tell and many pictures from my day in NY.But it will have to wait a bit.
Today, my sweet dog, ran out in front of a car and was hit.
we had to put him down as his injuries were extensive.
i am just too overwhelmed, right now to tell you about the trip and to post pics.i can barely type. the kids are away and don't know yet.
please know that just as soon as I can, I will tell you all about the great day in the big apple.

Oh Susan - I'm just so very sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose a beloved part of the family. I wish I had words to help but just know we are here for you. Hugs to you.

Oh sweetheart I am so sorry about your loss...Just know I am lifting you and your family up for prayer and comfort. My heart aches for you...I know how this pain can cut so deep. We love you...

Oh Susan..I know that loss and it hurts so much. I will sure keep you in my thoughts and prayers today...and your children too..it is so hard to lose a member of your family..dogs are so special.

Susan and family- Hugs to you all, we here know that loss too and it is just a sad thing. Maybe when you are all feeling a little better you could make a commemorative stepping stone with your dog's name and the dates you had him. We did one and it helped us to remember the fun we had. Put it in a favorite spot of your pet's and you will have a special place for them to always be with you in the garden. Right now it's just crummy, so cry if you want to, after all pet's ARE members of our families.

Susan, blessings being sent to you and your family in this sad time, been down that road too, losing a pet, esp. a dog, is hard, they are so much apart of the family. Saying a prayer that your dog crosses over the rainbow brigde in peace. HUGS!

I so appreciate all of your tender words. It helps me tremendously.
My heart aches so much today as I am going through my day.
Every corner of this house holds a happy memory of Buster.It is bittersweet.
Spoke with Patricia this morning, (correction: spoke a little, cried alot!)and felt so comforted by her words...and all of your words and prayers. Just wanted to check in and let you know how it goes.

Oh Sue, my tears are for you and Buster today. My warmest hugs are coming your way. After such a high in NYC and to come home to this, what a drop for your soul. I'm so sorry, only wish I were there to help. Our pets give us strength and keep our hearts light with their unconditional love.
