Oh, yay! Sweet treats and good wishes will be delivered to Jeannie Pierce in Florida!! An entire month of Farmgirl love is heading your way, Jeannie. 
I'm not going to tell you yet.  Actually, I have spent the past few weeks wondering just who I want to bestow this honor upon. You have all popped into my head for one sweet reason or another. And so, I have left it to chance. I wrote down each name that came to mind over the past few weeks and added them to a little bowl.
Realizing that May is almost over, I felt I had best get crack-a-lackin' and choose someone.
So, the name has been chosen, the wheels are turning for what to put inside my package to her and on Saturday, the last day of May, I will let you know just who she is.
Until then, I am busy making "thank yous" to be sent to the lovely ladies who popped something in the post for me. I feel loved, cared for and warm all over from the comments and treats that have come my way. You are, each and every one of you, so deserving to have something wonderful come your way.
Don't forget to stop back by on Saturday, when new FOTM will be revealed. I think you are going to agree with me- it's the perfect choice.

Yup! That's what we do. The Farmgirl of the month gets sent carepackages by those want to/can. Then at the end of the month she picks the next Farmgirl of the Month. Pretty fun, huh?

oh karin darlin' .. i still haven't gotten your package to you what with all this running back and forth from toledo .. will get to the postie with it .. and a little sumpthin-sumpthin' for miz jeannie too . when i get back to kentucky.
i love that we are doing this .. i think mayhaps we need to send little 'reminders' during the month .. 'splaining what we're doing for all the new kids and those that miss the postie!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is wonderful! And great, because I will have the time this month to really give back too! Now I have to go and re-read the thread about this honor to make sure I do it proud. Thank you Karin! I am very excited. And I want to say I think putting the names in the pot and letting chance do the choosing is a great way to do it.

In response to nitere - Amy, I like vintage linens, hand-made items, recipes, old post cards, and photos of all of you! I know some of you make soap, and that is one of my favorite things.....and of course, surprises are the best. We have met before, and it is good to remember sitting with you making rag rugs! :)
