Well, I kind of hate to even post on this one - mainly because I'm no seamstress - so all you excellent "sewers" out there, be easy on me, O.K. Ha Ha. I thought maybe someone would enjoy my "simple" sewing project - so if you'd like, hop on over to my blog - my lil' painted pillows are sittin' pretty. You all have a great day! Blessings to you! Cathy!! Your pillows are gorgeous! Gorgeous!! GORGEOUS!! What beautiful artwork. Your blog is just lovely. I will definitly be stopping in again!:) Did you paint those on with acrylic or liek the special fabric paint. Too wonderful! ***sighs*** to be so handy with a paintbrush! hugs Jessie

Thank you Jessie for your sweet, kind comments. I simply used my acrylic paints - I did mix them with some textile medium - which keeps the paint from being quite so "stiff". You could use fabric paint I'm sure, just whatever is easiest for you. I just like to free-hand whimsical designs - but you could easily trace a pattern out of a magazine or something (my grandmother has always used coloring books for some of her t-towel designs). Inspiration is all around - have fun!! Thanks so much for looking! Cathy

Cathy, your little pillows are so cute! You've definitely sparked some ideas and I'm thinking that a trip to the craft store is going to be added to my plans today. I'm sure they will be a big hit at your event.
