My husband left me
My husband came back
My husband won't leave
The kids moved back home and I had to give up my sewing room

Linda...how is the "new guy on the Internet" going? Have you googled his name yet? :)))
My son checked out my ex husband, who supposedly won or came in at the near top at many dirt bike races in SoCalif in the early 70's. Found a site where all the old entrant/finisher lists were scanned in and posted and could not find his name on a single one. Really strange. We have learned that much of what he "claimed" was not true, but he had trophies from these races...did he go buy them himself????
Okay, sorry, didn't mean to go into that discrepency. I do hope it's working out well and you're getting to know each other.

Bonne you are the funniest. We could have a contest for who comes up with the strangest excuse, the funniest, the saddest...ect.

I met a couple guys from internet. I didn't like one and the other one didn't like me. LOL
Sunday I went out with a guy from church and we really hit it off :-)
He called me yesterday and we talked for an hour.
He seems to want to become a couple so fast. We have seen each other at church several times and chatted once. Do you think once we are in our 50s it makes a difference? I don't think I'll check internet on him because the church people will tell me about him LOL I know older adults like us get tired of being alone.
Tell me all your opinions!

Linda,
From mini aprons to relationships...what a topic...
I think that as long as you feel comfortable you should go with your gut feelings.
As for going fast, I guess no one wants to be alone. Men seem to need more attention. More taking care of. Or maybe they are just babies and need Mommies. Don't be a Mommy!
Listen to what your fellow church goes say about him. And yes, Google him! Just because he is a church go-er does not mean is a saint. Take it from a loyal catholic; confession clears your soul but not your police record!

I Love Kathy's Advice too.. Sounds perfect..

I'm REALLY happy for ya Linda..
I'm all about going a bit slower though.. Yes.. we're older..
Not like we need to sort out all that silly kid stuff..
We can have a good time with out the games..
But no since in jumping right in with both feet right off..
Wade in the shallows a bit longer.. You just never knows what lurks as you get in deeper.. Slow & easy..
You can be friends as long as you want..

Yes.. Indiana Jess' on their Way.. Carol Sue sounds closer too..
Progress anyway.. (Just steer away from the Mini Bar..)
It's a dangerous place for those weekened warriors!

AND We HAve MAIL!!!!

You'll all love these!!!!
I think her's by Far have truly captured the Patriotic Spirit..
Nothing says All American like our Own Bald Eagle!
Such a pretty Print! I love these Mini's Cheryl!
& Naturally.. all Ribboned & embellished up to boot!

AND I Have some Ideas for the Birthday Mini's..

AND

I'm thinking bright multicolors, like for kids's BDays. Or something just colorful and happy.
Lots of leeway on this one. Whatever makes you think "Birthday Party"

Oh, and Linda, just go and have a fun time. You don't have to think about potential "marriage material" and whatnot. It's gotta make you happy and sharing things with another with like interests sure is a heck of a lot more fun than being alone.
