Kathie! Thanks for letting me know the little aprons arrived. And, yes, it is called Americana. I just was not sure what to do. And, like you said to me in your email, I am sitting eating popcorn and watching all the "girls go by, trying to finish their mini aprons". Next time, I will be better prepared and can procrastinate, right? And all the worry was for naught. Oh my goodness, I guess I could make another set, huh, since I was so worried about getting these out on time and not having sewn for oh, let's say, many, many years and being a little more than rough with the skills. I could have done a much better job. I am glad you thought they were cute, though. Thanks! Enjoy the weekend everyone! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this group of ladies. You make me smile and life -- something that has been somewhat amiss over the last few months with the extensive foot surgery and then coming very close to losing my mother to colon cancer. Karin, just start in on making them. I shoot for 20 when the signup hasn't closed yet. It usually hovers around that number and extras are always cute to tuck in with gifts.

gawd! Why are you working on the 4th?! I know why I am, but you shouldn't have to. We are having our 4th party on the 6th. More people could make it. It's going to be unbearably hot though~who ordered this 90's plus weather with no rain for weeks!?? I'm starting to rethink keeping ANY grass anymore. If I have to pay for all the watering, it's gotta produce~ya hear me?! Ya gotta earn your keep, ya bloody growing things!!

Well Bonne.. Look at those picture of the Seniors all living in Arizona..
NO grass at all.. Just a load of Gravel poured out front..
Easy upkeep..
Blauck!! Doesn't strike me as very attractive though..
I need to see green.!
Maybe you can come up with a new nice edible lawn..
So you can incorporate it into your Diet!!

sheesh Kathie..both you and I are gonna need the machetes..same situation here.. oh gosh..it has rained a lot and then the weeds wanna grow faster than anything and now I have maypops sprouting up hither and yon..guess they seeded themselves everywhere except for where they were supposed to be growing..ugh.. they are gorgeous flowers but my gracious..I didn't know they'd try to sprout up anywhere...then..hubby's garden has gone to ..well..to...ya know...it just isn't neat anymore..and has to be yanked out along with a lot of weeds.
sheesh..machete time..yeah...
and I've been outside trying to pot up my rose bushes that I do NOT intend to leave here..and dug out just 6 of them and was literally dripping wet..waaaah..it's so daggum hot and humid out there right now..and I wanna work out there but great day!!! it's so daggum hot and humid I'm afraid of getting too hot and keeling over in it.
So I take it in little spurts..go out dig a little, then back in to rehydrate.
So..well..you and I can get on our huge sombreros and grab a machete and tackle each others yards..ha.

Ladies they are sort of a Semi Circle Shape.. The Sweetest little Ribboned Waist Bands.. & Lace as well as each having an adorable embelishments..
& the fabic pattern has a cute little Heart mottiff on it too!

(They actually arrived on Monday kiddo.. My apologies for not posting sooner.. hope I didn't make you worry too much about what happened to your babies!)

Hey gals,
I saw some great fabric today at JoAnn's. There was a red/white/blue print that said "Republican" on it...the another one that said "Democrat". I got a big smile just thinking about how cool that would be reversable, you could display the side you want.
I can't see how I could find the time before the due date ......
but maybe a reversable apron??? LOL LOL

oohhh that is the one I want, "pitch 'em both and start all over again"...I love it...good job Kathie. Well, I am back girls, my little respite at the hospital for the last several days. Thought I would be up and running again, but looks like I am darned exhausted and sittin on my butt instead, so more rest for me. My minis should be going in the mail tomorrow, was hopin sooner, but with my unexpected hospital stay, there they sat all week on the table.

Well Kathie I must be blind but can't find your convo about the upper GI....been there done that this past December..they did the colonoscopy at the same time..omg..Thomas and my dad were saying "don't worry sweetheart they'll clean that tube before putting it down your throat"..can you believe they were telling me all this?..of course, it did make me laugh instead of stress over what the heck was wrong with me.
So what the heck is wrong with YOU? Hope it's something you can keep managed like mine.
