I really do manage to get myself into enough hot water doing THAT ya know!!
Although I could just cut & paste & keep adding the same old crew in everytime.. as soon as i did is when someone would tell me they couldn't manage it that time around or something so Bonne you in now from now on whether you LIKE it or Not!!!! SO there!!

Okay, at the chance of sounding unaware, what is a mini apron. I've only been around a week or two and would like to join in but I need to know what is expected. I'm having visions of something very short that my husband would like or something very small that my granddaughter would like for her dollies.

Ok, one after birthdays, how about polka dot ones? Yes, I love polka dots, dd and I were talking and she is the one who brought it up. Then you could do black and white ones, ya know black on white fabric and white on back fabric with a twist of red throw in of coarse. then.........

Nah, I would rather not shop right now..major improvements at my house this summer, new bedroom furniture for girls room...much needed...and 4 yrs in the waiting, new front porch...old one torn off soon, and start over, repaint the house...lookin a little abandoned right now, and a new driveway put in...trying to hold off till next year, but probably won't be able to...before I know it he's gonna make me get a job that pays. I like the harvest apron with fruits an veggies idea, too!

yeah.. my husband would be all about the skimpy, teeny little sheer French Maid Apron's too.. But.. THAT isn't exactly what we went with on the Mini's!
These are just Teeny little Fun ones that we all swap amongst our selves for NO apparent reason aside from an excuse to get together & banter back & forth I jab at each other & make fun..
We always have a theme.. They USUALY have some sort of consistant size to them.. about a 3x5.. (The size of your hand.. YOU decide How much of your hand your actualy using!) & decorate or NOT to your hearts content! Take a stroll down memory lane through some of the OLD Mini Apron Swap's.. We've had one for most Holidays now.. & even make up our OWN.. & then we get a few Pictures here & there too!
Best way to see what they really look like though is to go take a look at some of the Girls Blogs!!! Bonne, Grace & Nash I thinks have all posted Pictures of Past Mini's!
See what ya Think Janis.. Let us know if you think we're Nuts.. or if you want in! You'll be making one for every single Girl that signs up though.. so remember that could be 25 could be 15.. we never really know!

I just donated my Minnesota treadle to ARC~it just wheeled away. I left it threaded and with one bobbin with all the instructions and manuals I found online printed out and in the drawers. Hope someone adopts it. I didn't like the fact it took special longer needles that were pricey to get. See, I'm thinning out the herd!
What am I going to sew mini's on? ROFL

I have 3 other "treadles"~Red Eye, Sphinx, and Lotus. That's plenty. I've sewn up a storm on the Red Eye and Sphinx, but the Lotus needs more smudging~it was my MIL's........'nuff said. lol
The head wasn't lovely at all on the Minnesota~pretty beat up~it sews, but it's also a shuttle bobbin, plus the cabinet was painted "antiqued red", so that wasn't so pretty either. It was my first buy~I learned better later on.
