YAY! It's April 1st :) That means it's time to do the recipe swap! Below you are listed along with a partner. It will be your responsibility to contact your partner for her address. Please let me know if you are not able to get a hold of your farm girl partner. Remember to send 2-3 recipe cards that are SPRING themed! Let me know if anyone has any questions - and have FUN!!! :) HUGS! Joyce

Kylie, I received your recipes in this morning's mail...they are so homey (I enjoyed your card system & illustrations.) I can hardly wait to bake the honey cookies (I LOVE ginger) - they keep to 3-4 months or up to 3 years??? |

Hi Anna,
I just received yours last night! Can't wait to try yours, especially with farm fresh eggs :D
The original honey cookie recipe (I think it was from a book of pioneer cooking) says they keep up to 3 YEARS if tightly covered (they noted it as a surprising selling point, so I don't think it was a misprint). I guess the honey acts as a preservative. Might make a good root cellar treat to have on hand for unexpected guests :D I wouldn't know, though. I usually eat them too fast :}! Enjoy them in good health.

Stitch Hazel, I'm thinking when I get a little (more) senile, I'll bake up several batches of your honey cookies, put 'em in a 'time capsule" & my kids can enjoy them long after I'm gone! Thanks, again, for the love you sent my way! |

It was my pleasure, Anna. I'm sure they'd make great time capsule cookies, even if you're not senile ;}! I loved being your recipe buddy :D--thanks again.
Yours most dearly, Stitch Hazel :>

Hello Ladies!! It's time for another round of recipe swapping :) Deadline is May 1st to let me know that you would like to swap, and since it's Mother's Day around the corner - how about a favourite dish that you or your mom likes to bake/cook on Mother's Day :)
Can't wait!!
