We had such a successful swap with our kids (they swapped bookmarks), that we thought we would do it again!
As you all know, it is so important to help teach our kids the importance of taking care of our Mother Earth as well as making new friends! What a great way to do both at the same time!
Siobhan had put together a wonderful swap for us ladies, so I'm not going to change any of the specifics..
Just include along with your seeds, planting instructions, and whether it is a flower, vegetable, or herb..and how much space is needed for it to grow!
Sign up will end Saturday, May 15, and send in date by May 22.
So sign up the kids, grandkids, neighbors... It will be loads of fun!

Please e-mail one another for their address. Remember to have your seeds sent by the 22nd of May. Oh, and one helpful hint: wrap the seeds in a protective covering, bubble wrap..the P.O tends to crush the seeds! Don't forget the growing instructions, and whether or not it is a flower or vegetable!

My youngest son, Galen, said he would like to participate. He's very interested in gardening and I have promised him his own garden box this summer. So we'll be making two (to start, anyway) 4x4 boxes for me, and one 3x3 box for him. He was excited about the idea of a seed swap - he and his brother have been following the news of the secret seed swap I participated in, and are very excited to see what the seeds my farmgirl sister sent me turn out to be, so I think the idea of getting to do something similar himself was very appealing.

I'd like to sign up my daughter, Eliza Jane (8). I also have two younger daughters, Ella (4)& Evie Rose(almost 3). This is something they would like to do, too. They love to plant...is it alright if they swap seeds, too?

I've exchanged addresses with both of my partners. I can't wait to send some seeds out! I got some fun ones, I think. Teresa, you're awesome for setting this up for the kiddos. It's good to see a swap for them every once in a while. My kids love to get mail, but they're not old enough yet to be considered young cultivators.
