One more question: It is very difficult to get recipe cards where I live (remember: small village :D) so would it be oke if I write it down on "ordinary" writing paper so the gals can stick them to their own recipe cards??

Debi (herb193550,

I received your recipes in the mail yesterday along with the little extra. I promise to use it, but it is really pretty. I'm still looking for the elephant and the rabbits. Think it would be a good meal for a wedding reception? Just a thought.

Thank you so much. The omelet recipe looks challenging--do you nened to use freezer zip bags for strength?

Congratulations, Melanie and family! How special is that? That's just about the best "excuse" I can think of for not having the swap ready. Take your time and enjoy your precious little one.

Congratulations Mel!!!!! Snuggle the little one for us (especially the ones whose children have out grown that cute, non-back talking stage...ahhh those were the days...)!!!!!

Take care!

I have taken a year off to enjoy him and then after that...I will probably just go back to work for a day or two a week.
Okay gals......are you ready to start swapping?
for those of you ladies that are new to this....gather up three or more of your fav recipes..write then out on recipes cards or something similar....e-mail the gal that you are paired up with your address and that is that :)

We had an odd # of swappers this time so I paired myself up with two so that no one is left out.

Hey Melanie! CONGRATULATIONS! I have a two month old son named Cooper... I have a thread on the forum called 'here's cooper' with pics of him. So I know exactly what it's like to have to come back to a forum of match-making... I had several on the penpal forum to match when I got home from the hospital. I LOVE oliver's name. Thanks so much for matching all of us recipe swappers!
