I have been working on collecting and sewing for dolls. I have a worn and blind Madame Alexander 8 inch doll coming from ebay. She mostly just needs eyes. Any farmgirl dolly doctors out there??

I would be interested also, as I have a doll that was given to me years ago and was part of my late grandmother's collection (it is not Madame Alexander). It was connected with rubber bands on the inside (that held the arms and legs together).

I've always been interested in being a 'dolly doctor', and checked out several good books on the topic at the library. Never actually had a chance to practice, always been too busy. But you might see if you can find some books, especially for repairing limbs with rubber bands and such. I remember the books covered that quite extensively...wish I could recall titles...
