That's super!!! What kind of counter top did you get? Before I install our sink, I'm thinkinkg I might replace ours, too. The gold flecks are starting to wear on me :)

It's DONE!!!! Pics are on my blog! The counter top is a laminate. I bought it through a local harware store and it was REALLY reasonable. It was around $400 for the counters. I bought a "higher end" sink at around $200 and the new faucet was just under 100. I am in heaven! There are even BEFORE and AFTER pics on my blog!

Lucky duckie! I wish I could get my landlord to put in new countertops. Ah, heck, I'll just make my life easier and get a butcher block when we move... a well worthwhile splurge that will last generations.

Wow that looks amazing! You must have painted the cabinets! We bought our house the last week in June last year and I absolutely love our kitchen! I'm in it all day long (watching 8 kids and all) and it was a must have when I saw the pics of this home online! Congrats on the remodel, bet it makes you want to keep it ship shape with everything being so shiny!

It looks great. And thanks for posting the prices too. I'm so encouraged now to make plans for my own kitchen. If only I had as much wall space for cupboards and counter as you do...my kitchen is all doors and windows.
