I keep waiting (and waiting) for that lovely three day weekend coming up and it's just taking forever!!!! Not that I want time to pass, but this month has so many fun things planned and I can't seem to "get to them" fast enough. The work week drags on, and then the weekends fly by in a blink!

This weekend is Burlington
Next weekend is Memorial Day (and the heralded basement cleaning)
The next weekend is a runaway trip to Louisville for me and Jus (he's going to a military model show, I'm going with Janice(Miss Bee Haven) to thrift and antique) then to our favorite restaurant, and stay in a B & B. Sunday, on the way home, we're stopping at the Locust Grove Historical site, George Rogers Clark's home from 1790. Yay

Then it's June....

Alright, Alee...I'll let it be long for you, but I don't know about you, I work better under the gun! I could pack a whole house up in 2 days if I had to, but I'm a major procrastinator and I don't recommend that :)

For me, May isn't quite long enough only because I have been off work, now, for 3 months recovering from major surgery and in two weeks, I will be heading back to the corporate world of mortgage foreclosures, but the good thing is that it will bring me closer to my goal of leaving the big city and heading back home to Billings, Montana to take care of my mother and get back to my country roots. I spent 3 months last year up there and absolutely hated coming back to Phoenix and the huge city and the heat. But, with mom having congestive heart failure this last weekend, and being in the hospital, now (she is much better today), it is time for me head northward again. I hope to get to meet Alee once I get there.

And, Jonni, I seem to work better under the gun, too. I must be the world's worst when it comes to procrastination and the more pressure for me in the end, the more I can get done. So, I probably won't do much of anything as far getting things together for the move until sometime in early September. Besides (and, I hate to say this), Christmas is just around the corner...YIKES!!

May sure feels like it's been a whole month already. I think it's just because it's been so busy for me with planting, digging, etc.
