I went marketing on Saturday at Whole Foods (because I bought Jus some health shoes at the Walking Store and that's where I was....) but I didn't get much because Whole Foods is pricey. However, I did get a couple of rice and noodle cups made by Dr. McDougall...I guess it's some sort of healthy diet thing, he's has his own website devoted to the "plan" but I actually just like the taste of them--more so than Fantastic brand. The one I'm eating today is a curry with raisins, almonds and dates, with wild rice and peas and carrots. Yum, and at 150 calories and 1.5 grams of fat, I can do this for sure. Not bad either, at $1.69 a piece.

Anyone else heard of this brand? What do you think?

Jonni, my mum really likes Dr. McDougall, and has a book or two by him. I haven't heard of his line of food, though. I might pass this info on to her...

I highly recommend them, Jodi...and I'm not much into the little "ramen" type foods, but these were the right price, the right fat/diet fit and they taste great! I think my favorite was the hot and sour noodle soup. YUM.

I shop Whole Foods every week for my Nanny family. They can be pricey for sure but the do have an awesome fish & meat department along with extensive deli, cheese, and produce. You can also find some very good deals on items if you watch. The one thing I really like is that you can try ANYTHING they carry or if you buy something you don't like or it is stale you can bring it back recite or no recite. They are very consumer orientated. They also can be a one stop shop for organic products that are more pricey in our regular stores. They also have all those fun not so common health foods.
