Has anyone seen "The Golden Compass"? It seems to be sticking pretty close to the actual book, which is nice. I am only part way through though, so that might change.
Anyway- the first scene that Nicole Kidman is in, she has a beautiful hairstyle with large two large curls pinned (pin curls?) above her ear towards her temple. Anyone know how to replicate her hair style? It's so pretty. I'm not sure if it would look good on me, but I sure would like to try! :D
That is pretty neat. I wonder how long it took to get them so perfect!! Being a former hairdresser, I hated trying to get perfect pincurls!!!

I think it was a hair piece. I just tried to do the same double curl with mine and it took all of my hair and the end of the second curl started to look a bit...runty. My hair goes down to the middle of my back so there is no way that those curls are connected with her hair being that short. It might be two individual curls though.
Alee, I agree 100%. If I could get my hair to look like one of those glamorous 40's or 30's starlet styles every day, oh my. I'd go short hair in a heartbeat. Lovely.
