Jack
Fluffy
Delilah
Adventure
Oreo
That's the brood! Delilah and Oreo are our does and Delilah is a pure bred Mini Rex. The rest are all mutt rabbits. It's a start though further into our self sufficiency!

Yep they shall be meat rabbits and Rob has recently gotten into hide tanning so the entire animal shall be made of use. I stuck Fluffy in and he mated both females so hopefully I'll have some bunnies soon enough. I'm going to try to find another Mini Rex to breed Delilah to so open class at the fair, but that might be hard to find.

That's great Tasha! We are working that direction ourselves and slowly my DH is coming to see the light :D I think it helps that he works in a grocery store and sees the rising cost of food on a daily basis. Plus, if I an prove that raising our own food is healthier and cheaper in the long run- he will come around.

We used to raise rabbits. Years ago. They were supposed to be for meat, too. I fell in love with them and it never happened. Am I bad? Susan |

Love your bunny's, they are so cute and fuzzy looking.
Susan, I am right there with you, I don't know that I could ever eat them. I would really have to work on my "food thinking"
