I got my bill two weeks ago, and still no magazine. I guess I'll have to call around and see if I can find one in a bookstore here.

It's time for the farmgirl subscription posse to saddle up!
If you've sent in a card or called or sent an email and you still don't have a copy of the magazine (or worse yet, paid the bill!), we want to double-check the mail list for your name. Please email Belvoir your name and address and they'll get back to you promptly: customer_service@belvoir.com
Go ahead and copy us on your email: iris@maryjanesfarm.org
The only way for us to check at this point is to get the name and address you used when you signed up!
As soon as we know any specifics, we will post!!!

Thank you so much for the info Mary Jane. I had mailed out my form a while back and they said that they don't have my information in the system, but they will put it in now.

Sounds like a bunch besides mine went to live elsewhere. Good thing none of us are getting so upset to say "forget it". If we end up with one from the store and one in the mail...it will just bump the circulation up and look even better for MJF! I'm sure we can all find someone to share an extra with, if only to bring more farmgirls into the fold. And now I don't feel like Cinderella getting left out :) |

Hi Farmgirls, We (my mom and myself) have also had problems getting the magazine. We each e-mailed the company our subscription request. When I read here on the forum that others were either receiving (or not receiving) their copy I decided to call to double check our subscriptions. They had no record from either of our subscription requests. I was then told that email requests did not guarantee a copy/subscription to the magazine. So I gave both of our names/addresses over the phone to start our subscriptions. I was told it would be 4-6 weeks to get the first issue, which might not be the issue just published. I then asked if she could tell me where I could purchase it locally, and she said she could not.
I then started calling around to Barnes & Noble, and they said they carried it. However, when I went to the Clackmas Town Center store (not the one I called) I searched and couldn't find it. I then went to the counter for help and it isn't even listed in their inventory. I insisted that I knew that they did carry it, and so a wonderful employee helped me look again. Thank goodness we finally discovered about 6-7 issues hidden behind some other magazine. I wasn't leaving without my 2 copies- I knew they had to be there. The employee was as stunned as I was to find them there since there is no listing in the computer. So, if your in the Portland Oregon area, the Town Center did have a few more issues-at least they did yesterday afternoon. They are now more visible on the bottom shelf in the lifestyle section. And YES! It was all worth it. Thank you Mary Jane and crew for another GREAT issue. Kathy |
