Girls I'm still working on loving myself more and giving me time. I still get the sad times and the hurt in my tummy any suggestions. I am doing things I love just to DO them and not care what others think :) I took advice.

Do you have a dog? I know this sounds crazy, but when I divorced, I was in the worst possible place I could be...and when I got a little better, when those times came around, I grabbed up my pup and we went out to Big Bone State Park (rain or shine) and went hiking up the steepest hills we could find. Being with her, seeing deer and other wildlife, laughing at her, hugging her, walking up those big ole' hills reminded me that I didn't need anyone BUT her and ME and we'd get along just fine. It will get better, you just have to let it ride. My friend Jess put it superbly at that time in my life, "Jon, some days are just gonna suck.". How right she was, but it does get better.

Thank you dear Frannie and Jonni. I wish I could visit you Frannie!!! $ and time are the only things holding me back. Jonni I do I have the sweetest little man ever named Louis and is a mini schnauzer. I talk to him all the time and groom him and walk and tell him how stupid men are and all I want is one like him. hahha He is my saving grace. I appreciate it ladies I just am trying to plug through and today saw the ex's truck and my stomach dropped out.

Bridget, I'm thinking of you and sending a big hug. I hope you're feeling better soon and I agree with Jonni. When I'm down my dog usually sits right beside me and will try her best to cheer me up. (She did this most of this past weekend.)

Bridget, it will get better but some days will suck. When the going gets bad get yourself involved in something. I've had many times during my single mom years when all I wanted to do was take my X out for good and I'm not afraid to admit it. When those times hit I would involve myself in something very time consuming. Refinish furniture, make something above my talent level in cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, learn to handle a new tool anything that would immerse my whole thought train. I did it yesterday when my oldest left for his deployment in Korea. His last call, and text set me off big time so I went into my garage and took out this old many layered painted wood table and started to stripe it well before I knew it it was hours later and the progress I had made was impressive. Funny how much energy a sad mind and body can conjure up. My prayers are with you it will get better and some day he will understand what he lost. Then it will be your turn to laugh. The right man is out there, he is just hiding because he's been hurt too. I know because I found one of those men and he was worth the pain of losing the old one. I promise!

Thanks girls again, sometimes I just need the good energy. I have been trying to be busy and just enjoy each day. I've been getting involved in my town and posting on this blog http://ligonierliving.blogspot.com/ but I think Betty Jo I will take you up on what you have done. I think I'll just do more things and even when they are "above" my talent as you put it! haha
Thanks Lainey and Nashbabe for the hugs and thanks to 4forme for the thoughts it means worlds. I hate complaining on here but you gals help me through my darker hours. THANK YOU AGAIN for the MILLIONTH time hehe. I swear I have to have a better attitude about guys too so the right one comes along.
