I have a package going out to ups and need to make 3 pillows and get tehm ready to go out tomorrow.

I got up at 5 am and went to the Y this morning at 6 for my workout with my niece. I walked a mile and 1/4, then worked with weights.

Tomorrow we are going mushroom hunting (morels). Do any of you hunt them?

Not sure yet. I changed the sheets and washed all the bathroom towels, did up the rest of the house work. Took some pork chops out for dinner. Still have potato salad left from yesterday and brownies. Kids are still in Disney so I was over at seven to check on the kitty cats, will be going back a few times, they Miss their Mom. Great weather here agian today so will play outside. Thinking about going to the thrift for a fast look. I did get those old clothespins yesterday. A whole bag for .99 cents. AND JUST MAYBE MY MARYJANE MAGAZINE WILL COME TODAY!!!!

Well, at my first job on a little break now and will go on to my second job later this afternoon. It's such a nice day here now and if this evening is still pretty will have hubby meet me at the second job to go to the park to walk a bit I think. Nothing perks me up as much as a walk on a nice day.

Working...and trying to get organized and counting down the minutes until I get home with the dogs, cats and Jus (he's off today). Planning dinner--Lainey, you're lucky--it's still sortof grey and cloudy here. They said it's going to be 70 and sunny, but I'm not so sure....

Today is my day to launch blitzkrieg (lightning war) on my house with mop, pail, rags and good old elbow grease. I have decided that I am only going to lose one or two days a week to deep cleaning and enjoy creating and playing with Nora the rest of the time! I have already done a load of dishes (They pile up quickly around her as we hand wash everything and I am the only one that does it!)
and I have a small mountain of laundry to fold and put away... much smaller than last weeks...I think I am making progress! :D

I have been working on my laundry this morning and have a batch of bread dough rising right now. Husband will be home at 1pm for lunch and then he is off to the next town south for a physical and to get the results on his kidney stone thing...and at 3pm when the kids all get home youngest daughter has an appt in the next town north to get her contacts finally...she is so excited!! Then she and youngest son have piano lessons at 5pm..through 6pm. We are barbquing ribs tonight for supper and then will work together on the garden for family night (hopefully) that is the plan anyway..and then I need to make calls about a PTA meeting we are having on Weds.I plan some reading time between now and when the kids get home...a nice quiet Monday is always nice!

How is everyone doing on their Monday?

I have cleaned the kitchen, got about 3 loads of dishes done (hand wash so maybe only a load and half for those with dishwashers- if that) scrubbed the kitchen, counter and floor down. Since then I have been working on laundry and have gotten it all washed (during cleaning the kitchen) and am now working on folding. Doug has a pile of clean cloths to put away on his dresser and I am finding out that I have more cloth diapers than I realized! LOL It feels great to be getting this done and I am hoping Nora says down for a nap this afternoon so I can get more done quickly.

I have been wearing a full apron that I made last year and am hoping to make some adjustments to the shoulder straps this evening as right now they are both about 5-6 inches too long!

Also- it is Snowing. Yes- Snowing in April almost May. April _showers_ bring May Flowers...so what do April Flurries bring?

I am going to be busy tonight sewing for some farmgirls and myself which I love(I am sewing from one of the patterns in the new magazine!). Erik is gone for three days so each night I will catch up on tidying,ONE bit of deep cleaning, and laundry so I can just be with the kids all day and play.

Rebekka-

That is good advice- to clean after the kids are asleep. Our apartment (truly the size of a small house) got so out of control this past year with me learning how to be a mom and all- I am just now starting to get it back to where I think it should be. I am hoping after a day or two more of cleaning and picking up- I will be able to just tidy at night and do a tiny bit of deep clean to keep it in a clean stasis.

Spent the day with the flu. UGH!!! SO I called in sick. But did finish the laundry, put the loft back together from my sons leave, finished two weeks of my college class, chatted at MJF, to some pics, paid some bills, making DH supper, talked with the landscaper - looks like the water feature is a go, got my book together for my preschool book reading on Tuesday, and other little tidying stuff around the house. No nap but then maybe I'll sleep tonight. Just reading this make me tired. Hope it works I hate not sleeping.
