My "instructions" to a prospective spouse...if you hit me, make it worth your while, cause I won't be around for a second one. And I mean every word of it. Thankfully, I've not had to make good on that promise with any of my husbands. yes, plural. If I'd added "don't lie to me", I probably would have gotten out of two much earlier than I did.

cute...sometimes. cunning...sometimes that also. The previous one made a huge issue of always telling the truth and he turned out to be the biggest liar of all. I used to stand up for him when his mother or sister would make mention of something not true and eventually realized they were telling the truth, not him. Sad situation. He's told his lies for so many years, I think he believes them to be the truth.

Jonni - be sure that Jus brings his guitar and I will see if my hubby will get his guitar and if Wilma gets her hubby to bring his guitar, we'll have us a good ole pickin time. :) It sure has been a while since I've heard some good music.

Hey Girls,
It is official. I will not be able to come this month for your gathering.
I got a phone call reminding me that I'd volunteered to work a charity that weekend of May 18th. Which I had completely forgotten about.
So I'll hope for an adventure with y'all sooner rather than later. I was really hoping to come too. So sorry.

Thanks Miss Wilma, I'm seriously bummed. Just wasn't meant to be this time I guess. More time to plan for a future adventure thought, right?

Haha, Ms. Wilma's account has been hijacked :) Hey, tell Ms. Texas Frannie..she has MANY rabbits!

Ronna...wow, the guy sounds like bad news :( Well, you did find out about him...sad to say, there are many folks like that roaming around.

Linda, yikes, sorry to hear you can't come, I could have met my pen pal in person. We can still write though :)

I know Zan, I was SO looking forward to it. But if I know this group (and I'm getting to) there will be other opportunities!

Zan, I was married to him for 15 years! When my first husband came to visit his mother, for the first time in 10 years, I was there and the rest is history. Two divorces and a remarriage later, here we are...going on 13 years now. We were divorced for 26 years and I'd not seen him/no contact for 24 of those 26 years. Both of the spouses said it was meant to be and I do believe that. As to the one I divorced, he was heartbroken, but don't think he realizes I was getting so tired of his lies the marriage was down the tubes anyway. We were good friends, that was the sad part. All's well that ends well.

OOOOOHHHHH, pictures of you Miss Wilma, and Janice, and Jess and Jonni. That truly has cheered the tar out of my day.
I was just trying to do a little reading and catching up because gone for so dern long.

Ronna girl, we are gonna have to figure out how to do that road trip and go see these girls, put that thinking cap on girl.

Janice, I love the fish adventure and your hubby trying to make them swim away. I thought they were awesome!!!

Those letters with the drawings on them were awesome and those rabbits were so darn cute.

Thanks for brightening my day!!!!!!

I think would be the other way around, or at least Carol Sue meeting me in Reno and us heading east. Never know, it just might happen someday. I used to have on my checks "hold on to your dreams, they may come true". Biggest dilemna would be what to drive if we didn't fly. Hmmmmmm

OK, Carol Sue, your Geo gets better gas mileage than anything I drive, but it won't hold much...but then, neither will the Corvette. So, we take the PT Cruiser and fill it up, or the Vette and ship stuff home....what's your pleasure? Naw, the cruiser isn't too comfortable for me, so has to be the green car. I can't go unless Larry's home to feed and love the dogs, so can't take his Pickup. Or, we can just fly back, rent a car and still ship everything home. It would be a fun trip, regardless! I keep forgetting to ask him about the frequent flier miles.
