I'm busy here with the 3 kids and animals, I might drive over to my Mom's and visit, I plan on finishing a Mother's Day Pillow for my Etsy shop and go to the Library formore Chic Flicks before DH comes home from Alabama on Tues. It's sunny and 65, I think rains coming this afternoon.

Earth Day is celebrated in two towns near me today. So I'm having breakfast with a friend then go check them out. Since it's cooler this weekend than last I'll plant some more veggie seeds. Mom gave me about two dozen calla lilies that need to get in the ground. And, my radishes are ready to be picked and re-planted.

Sunday is free dump day at the local city dump and I have a few large items for that. If I can con sis to come over and help me load them in my truck.

OR maybe I'll just nap all weekend. Worked my fannie off last week and had two meetings that lasted until 10pm. Those really wipe me out.

Began the day trying to finish a garden design, which I will present later in the weekend. But then walked outside for 'inspiration' and spent the next 3 hours listening to the Cubs game, cleaning flower beds a bit, hooking up the watering hoses, planting pansies and violas, and transplanting perennials that had seeded themselves into pathways. I'm happy, a bit tired (still recovering from a horrendous cold), and sitting here once more by the drawing table. I do feel inspired! -- and will include some of my favorite plants into this design.

Hi Frannie!

Yes, I do have many many perennials in the garden. Also many bulbs -- here are some pics of the 'minor' bulbs this spring

I love spring!

Pretty flowers.

I didn't do too much this weekend, just mowed the grass for the first time this year. Thought we put the empty gas can in a good spot for the winter and went back to take it to the gas station and it was not there. We spent probably an hour looking for it and decided to get another one. We think it must of got taken away by the wind.

Anyway, the place sure looks nice after a fresh mowing.
