I was in the mood for shopping today but did not want to dress to leave the house. So I went into my attic and look what I found. The clothes pin bag is from ELAH and the tennis shoe pin cushion is from Angie R. There are some wall spots open until I find the right piece to fill them. Another room almost done. Hopefully before our 4th anniversary I can have the rest of the house decorated too.
P.S. I posted pictures of the kitchen in the "Kitchen around the Corner" Thread http://www.bboopster.blogspot.com 3 Blue Star Mother and Proud of it! Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon. Enjoying the road to the simple life :>) |

Cuuuuute! I love seeing everyone's homes. Gives you ideas you'd never think of.

Thank you. I love digging through my attic, it's so much fun. I found 3 single, old embroidered, pillow cases that I am going to turn into Roman shades for my loft guest room.

It's in the midst of being re-decorated so it doesn't flow very well. I've been in the mood to shop in my attic. It's funny how much you forget you have when it has been packed for years.

You can also see a built in cabinet in our kitchen-entry area in the "Look what I got" thread in the stitching and crafting forum.

Love your treasures! All those crocheted pot holders. I was thinking of hanging mine along with the mini aprons the girls have been sharing with me. You have some wonderful old timey stuff, how cool! Ronna |

a room??? several houses probably. I find so many neat things I've bought over the years and forgotten when they get shoved aside or packed away for awhile. Gee, I could redecorate all the time and not spend another cent!! That's a good thought. Or sell/re home a bunch and still have plenty. I just cleaned all my perfume bottles after a barter with Theresa/gypsys daughter and had forgotten that some of the bottles are very vintage name brands and some crystal bottles. Got a new bigger display case and finally all are out to look at, in both bathrooms. Lots of fun.

I agree with Frannie, I love the clothesline of potholders! SOOO cute. I can hardly wait until I have a place of my own to decorate. This is very inspiring!

What a cute laundry room. I also like the little clothesline. But I have to add, those kitchen cupboards are just beautiful!!

What a cute laundry room, and inspiration to tackle my own. I love the clothesline idea.
