I planted seeds for salad greens (among others...) last Saturday, and exactly a week, I see a peep of green in my bed. Yay! I've been waiting and waiting for a salad from my yard 
Now, crossing fingers that the other stuff comes up! I worry so much about the seeds not germinating, or only some, etc...I'm doing totally different seeds this year (all heirloom) so it's like starting fresh. Don't know what will work and what won't...I guess we'll soon find out!
