Hi Ladies...new to this website...what fun. Would love to connect with other farmgirls who feel out of place in their suburban environments. Only my kids, ducks, yoga and my knitting keep me sane

I am glad you are here too Jenn!! You will find plenty of other knitters who LOVE to talk knitting! What type ducks do you have? I miss mine and want to have more soon!! I have been duckless for the past 3 years..since we moved here and I sold mine before the move. They are so fun to watch..I feel that way about chickens too.

Welcome Jenn! Oooh, I've always wanted to try Yoga! I have some tapes but never feel like I'm doing it right! LOL I love knitting too but am still learning. It's relaxing as long as I'm understanding the directions! LOL Glad you are here!

Hey Jenn, i'm originally from the Phila. area, I know your land. My husband being from So. Cali. likes to say poke-a-nose, he gets a kick out of the names of places around SE P.A. like King of Prussia, which if your from the area it's pronouced kingaprussia - all one word. Anyway, Welcome welcome from my homeland!!

Hi. I'm new here as well and have found the site to be really informative. By-the-way, I grew up in the Pocono area - between Blakeslee and Wilkes-Barre. Welcome, neighbor! Marie |

I wish you all lived in my neighborhood. I have three Pekin ducks Jenny, am so happy to talk knitting (making a dragon blanket for my son age 5) and am always willing to talk yoga. I own a studio in East Stroudsburg, PA. Hey Julia, Oregon is a hot bed for yoga. You should check out a local class. Those of you who know the Poconos...do you know where I can find a nice farmhouse with about 3-8 acres. The real estate in Stroudsburg has gotten crazy expensive and with all those strip malls and chain stores it may be time to head further north. I still need to be within 1 hour of the yoga studio though. Any help would be appreciated
