I just had to post and say that I have just gotten a job in Dallas which means that I can afford to buy a farm outside the city! Just a first step since I will still be working in town, but I'm excited just the same to wake up in the morning and come home in the evening to the country!

I too am so happy for you Lacy. My husband commutes to the city every day. When he comes home at night he stops for a few minutes on the bridge that spans a small creek to enter our property. He is instantly de-stressed. I feel so blessed to be able to have this small farm and hope you will find the peace and gratification that we have found here.
Best wishes.
