...of my life.
Our family (& assorted friends) spent the weekend at a magical place! No, not Disney World...living with and serving the residents of The Inner City Mission in Springfield IL. The mission is residence to folks who find themselves homeless for a variety of reasons. We cooked & served meals, did repairs, cleaned, painted and organized. BEST OF ALL was time spend visiting with residents, playing with kids, worshipping, and singing together! So many stories...such a place of HOPE!
What a wonderful weekend it was! Hubby said my face was glowing the whole time I was there-and believe me, I was not alone!  What makes us feel more alive than the JOY of giving!? What a blessing to meet and serve the residents! I can't wait to go back!

If you are in the area I encourage you to pay a visit and experience LOVE IN ACTION!
