I just noticed I have had 55 visits today on my blogger acct. ( Sitemeter stats) I was just curious why I have become so suddenly famous and I saw that there are people from every country you can think of visiting my site..but thats not the weirdest part, they all logged on at exactly the same time and some just minutes apart. I mean, there are people from iceland, finland, germany, egypt ( YES EGYPT!) france, london, I cant even remeber them all because they were some really suprising places. Anyway, has anyone else had this happen to them? Have I gotten spammed or am I just a famous blogger? I know we have farmgirls all over the world but the fact that these all were logging on withing seconds of each other makes me suspitious : (

Wow Rebekah, that sounds weird...hmm, could someone have posted your blog somewhere in cyber space that might have gotten the attention of these folks for some reason. I've never heard of this and it sounds a bit exraordinary if you ask me.

It sounds like your site was getting accessed by a crawler. Either that or someone was reading your site with an IP jumper which is a tool to hide your real IP address and makes it seem like it coming from places they are not. Depending on how often their IP was "jumping" it could have been that just one person was accessing your site.
ugh, I was afraid it was someone hiding thier IP. I can think of one person I would suspect of doing that : ( I wonder how I could go about clearing this up? I guess if a blog is on the web its pretty much public and you cant restrict who gets to see it huh? Any suggestions?
