hey ladies, just thought I would brag!!!!
On my trip to McCall, ID. we do what is call a "Trailer Tour" were we all decorate our little trailers and all of us go around(tour) and 'steal' each others decorating ideas! lol!
Weeeellll, I had all your cute Western Mini's up for display,,,and a couple of gals wanted to buy them but, I told them they were NOT for sale because they are all a little part of the hearts and hands of my dear apron makin' MJF sisters.
Hopefully I will have time to post some pic's on my Blog tonite.

Thanks so much for the understanding! You gals are the coolest  Carol - you always sound so cheerful, you always make me smile. Denise, even though I don't have grandchildren I do understand about priorities. I sure would love to just be sewing all day long... but we know how that goes.  Grace, love your pictures and your twinkie is adorable. Kathy - you were last once??? how funny.

I thought we got cheryls a few days ago....did we not...what the heck, I am losing my mind! I am gonna get on Sarah too, we have to be able to function these days even though it is getting more and more interesting by the day. How close were you thinkin'? I found somethin for you an hour away! It is pretty!

Hey Kathie,
just thought I would check in and see how things are coming along w/the Spring mini's....
I had sewn a few extra of my Western minis and sold them at my recent Sisters on the Fly outing as 'Wine Bottle Aprons' (bibs) they looked so cute & I sold all of them, gee, had I known I would have made a whole lot more!
I have been off & on here @ MJF with all my endevors so I have not been keeping updated on the goings on, but from the sounds of it,
ms jess is up to mischief? and after all it is summer, time to go out & play....with more mischief to follow.

Ok... I've HAD an Etsy thingy up for a while.. but i never seem to get enough things.. (Inventory) finished to be able to actually BUILD some stock to bother to TRY to get anything going..!
BUT! I FINALLY got my Butt In gear & MADE myself get to it!

I can sell them individually here at work for $40.00 each.. but the ones on etsy are SO much more LESS then ours.. I don't know really what to price them at.. Help me.. should I go less..? Even though I have one of your aprons, I think I need to inspect these aprons a little more closely....in person. Just go ahead and send them to me so I can give a true and honest opinion on them. I'll send them back.....maybe.......in a few years......maybe........

UR aprons are adorable & no I don't think the price is to high....you are right on par with the others I have seen for sale, but in your case they are reversable so the buyers are gettinga 2 for 1 great deal if ya ask me.
hugz & hope your aprons sell so fast that you will have to go into production again...lol!

Ok My Dears!!! Our Sweet Little Sarahs Spring Mini's Have arrived.. So.. ia am heading to the Post Office tomorrow afternoon.. just as soon as I get finished with my fun back moring having that Fan Freaking Tastic Upper GI!!
Sarahs Mini's Are SO Sunny! Your all going to JUST Love these!
Yellow & light Blue! Very Calming & all are trimmed with Lace & coordinating Ribbon!
Such Awesome little Mini's!~ You'de NEVER ever know these were her 1st ones!!!

Jess - I'm sure eveeryone's glad to have you back!
Kathie - I am so glad you got mine! Please tell me I remembered to put your little giftie in there as well! I saw the fabric and it reached out and bit my ankle! And a little bird told me you had a birthday not too long ago, or maybe it's coming up? Early onset Alzheimers... I'm sure I've got it!
I cannot tell you guys how many times the different parts of this apron swap package were in my car waiting on the others! Everytime I turned around either the aprons themselves, the package to put it all in or Kathie's address had gotten up and let itself out the door! I'm sorry it took so long, I've actually had the minis done for a reeeeeaaaaalllly long time. I'm so glad you got them. Can't wait to see evryone's in person. Thanks for letting me be a part of this. Life is nuts...but I don't have to tell you all that!

I can hardly wait to see these little items, I kind of forgotten what it was I made...could someone please post a picture of some birthday minis just so I can be dazzled and inspired? I would be so grateful. I'm blaming my brain freeze on the humidity, the few remaining brain cells I have that still work are molding over.

ANYWAY.. So.. The Thought of an upper GI..? JUST the MERE THOUGHT of the Stupid thing was making me puke!
Can you only imagine how I KNEW I was going to react with this thing!
So.. did my Deal.. nothing to eat after Midnight.. Got there for my appointment.. The Girl brings me back.. Explains our morning..
Which was probably NOT the best things she could have done.. because NOW I know exactly what to Dread! 
She then dumps two little packets of Poisonous Crystals from the black cauldron into her magical cup & pours a liquid over them..
It begings to boil.. He finger nails now have turned green & have started to grow.. She says "Drink up!".. I said "What is it?".. as I look into the cup of now Boiling Poison..
The little Liar says.. "oh.. It's Like Alka Seltzer.. It will create gas in you tummy.. but I don't want you to burp.. even though your gonna feel like you want to"
I dumped the acid back .. & felt it burn the back of my throat..
Felt the 1st gag..
She looked at me & said "Oh no.. Not already..?"
I said.. "told you.."
Now she Did look a bit worried..
Next she had me step onto her chamber of touture..
She hit a couple Dials & levers..& the Vice began to close towards me..
Miss Atilla the Hun Now hands me a 50 Gallons Drum of Faux Fruit Flavored Processed Vile.. & begins to instruct me to begin taking BIG swallows.. !!
Holy Crap!
I can't Begin to take Smidgy little Sips!
This one wants me to take BIG SWALLOWS!!????!!
NOW I know why she has me in this Vice!
So I can't REACH her!
I felt like it took me 3 or 4 hours to get all of this sludge down..
Each swallow felt as if it was coming right back up.. & TRULY would just HAVE to be the last!! I was even more aggrevated that the dang Clock was behind me..! I had wanted to watch to see how long this stupid drinking process was going to truly take me!!!
& That LAST drink.. Oh for the Love of Pete!!
I was aiming for the Garbage can!!!
& that hateful little brat says

(Ya like that "WE'LL" bit?? as if SHE'S been drinking this crap too???)
So THEN!!! She was all smiles of course..
I'm finished drinking.. Ready to Rock & Roll.. DONE with the worst of it.. Right?

So She Starts to now TIP me & her Stupid Machine BACK!!!

She had me rolling backwards.. then Forewards.. then Side ways.. then the other Sideways.. then on my head. then back bends.. then contorting every other direction..
Nows about the time of course I should remind everyone of my Back Surgeries.. So you can only imagine how attractive I must have looked on this slab trying to flop my self back & forth for her to be able to capture some pictures of my gut!!!

THEN.. when i thought we should be pretty good..
WHAT DOES THIS HATEFUL LITTLE GIRL DO??
She sneaks up next to me with a Sippy cup & says..
"Ok.. I need 3 big Swallows.."
You have to know that she stayed a little better then arms reach away from me.. Other wise she would have no hair left at this point of course..

The Angel of Death Informed me that I would be constipated..
I said "Wanna bet.." I walked over to the Bathroom.. I ever so easily upchucked all that nasty white gunk right out!
She just looked at me & shook her head...
I walked out to the waiting room & Butch Baby was sitting there & said..
" well That doesn't look like it was that bad "
I punched him in the stomach.. & said no.. not THAT bad!
SOOooo.. I made it home.. Still wanting to puke.. But..
Decided I best not try to force anything.. & piddled around the house for a bit trying to recover from my morning of Horrors..
I grabbed an armful of Packages & went to the Post office..
SO.. SOME of your Spring Mini's are in the Mail as we Speak.. Some are still sitting on the Dining room Table..
NO Whining..I just didn't have it in me to gather the all up right then..!
I'm not even sure who's went out.. but about half of them..
The others are all in a bag now waiting for me to snag them next time I walk out to make a run to the Post office..
I can safely say that I KNOW that MJ's are waiting to go out yet.. & all the ones to Indiana are still in the bag.. Aside from that.. It'll be a surprise when they arrive.. Just a day or two delay though..
Cheryl.. Did You not get yours out yet Still Sweetie?? Because I definatly did not come across them..

| Kathie, I'm going to assume they needed you to be awake for this testing. If anyone would be a candidate for night night while it was done, think it would be you. What an ordeal. I've had the upper and lower G.I. testing done just once and at the same time, so was out. Makes me almost gag just thinking about what you endured. Did you at least get a gold star for being such a good girl? Hopefully, they'll get the answers and you'll never have to endure this again. Icky poo..well, not poo, but still icky! |
