The Boston paper had an article about Mary Jane so I went to the computer and investigated - and here I am! Grew up on a small farm on Cape Cod, later went to an organic farm school, later still had my own farm in NH for 13 yrs, now lost in a divorce. 10 years later, 7 moves, still dreaming of that new farm. I live in a small village but right on the road where people wave at you as you take out the compost or walk the dog in your pyjamas -not for me. Just a little 5 acres here or VT......I had exotic bantam chicks, and a huge herb garden I used in culinary and landscaping business - apple trees, currants and blueberries. Would like to learn how to make soap and cheese and investigate sheep or goats - sheep preferred. Love to read your letters - lots of great ideas!

Hey Kat! I too am a displaced farmgirl. I grew up on 14 acres, but now have a double lot in town. I love my house and yard, but too long for a small farm.
This is a great place to be, glad you are here! Simply, Julia

Welcome Kat! Hope you re-realise your dreams, and good choice on wanting sheep. A bit easier to keep in than goats, but goats are personality packed. , Like alot of us on here, go for everything! Jenny Louise
