Hello, I am a hat maker from The Hudson Valley, NY. I make all kinds of hats, but many many polar fleece ones. I end up with alot of fabric scraps. I would love to send some to a good home. They would be great for making dolls, or a quilt and the clippings can be used for stuffing. I don't want anything in return it would just be so great to save these from a landfill. The cat shelter that the girls and I volunteer with make lots of great things for orphaned, newborn kittens with fleece. We would love to take some off of your hands

I love your hats too......I don't know how many scraps you have, or what you are planning on.....but I would like some too. I don't know about the size you are offering though, so I'll just let you know what I need. I use fleece as a liner in my babies diapers, I need strips around 6 inches long, and 4 inches wide, are the scraps smaller then that?
Thanks! And BTW, like others have said, as soon as I can afford it, I want a lot of your hats! I like the felt and the fleece ones. But, my head is so odd, I never know if they will fit, could you let me know if there is a place I could come and try on your hats. I live in Queens, however, I think but I am not sure, is Hudson Valley by Nyack? Like by the Palisade's mall? If so I know it wouldn't be difficult for me to come to where you are. |
