Anyone have any thoughts on wet and needle felting? I was thinking of trying to make some felt shoe/boot insoles. Would needle felting work, or would I need to try wet felting? I thought it would be a great way to use up that not so desirable pieces of wool. Are there any rules a person should follow as to doing wet felting?? I do tend to be a bit of a rule breaker, sometimes

thanks Michele

Hey Michele,

So far I have only done needlefelting with my machine..for those insoles you could use either method or you could get the form you need needlefelted and add them to your shoe and walk around in them and in no time they will be totally felted!
