Sometimes, I wish I had never learned the skills in needlework and in things I love to do. I have the tendency to collect things and not wanting to let go of them Thing is I love to sew, quilt, hand embroidery, counted cross stitch, knitting, crochet, tat. play the pinao, I have a small -well maybe a medium collection of Hymals from different churches. I love to collect needlework books , crocheting etc, Why, can;t I have a huge room for every thing I love? You know what? I think I have a collection that would fit as a small or medium size libray,Ha Hubby made me this wooden box shaped like those square trunks. it is filled to the brim with all different needlework books And I still have a clutter of them around the house. I have to figure out how I am going to keep them without hubby knowing it. Oh, I am crocheting a bed spread out of size 10 crochet thread and a size 7 crohet hook, it is a hexagon shape with crochet popcorns.( they are fun to make) I am putting crocheted pink roses in them and some it ormbre shades that is the light colors like pink, lavender yellow and blue, I think some green too. Yesterday , I took Mom to do her grocier shopping and go to the bank so she could put her checks in When we are at the grocier store, I usually just get what we need at that time I go and wait on her at the new updated drug-store. I sat and wait on her and do some kind of needlework. I crocheted a flower and gave it to one of the ladies that works in the drug store department , I told her she could stitch it on a tee- shirt. She was so surprised that I had made it for her and in a short time She said she was going to put it on her jacket The little hexagons takes a hour and 30 minutes to make the flower maybe 15 or less, pinkroses
